On June 20, Hu Bo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Binzhou Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Government Party Leadership Group, visited Weiqiao Pioneering Group for a field inspection. He was accompanied by Zhang Qian, Secretary of the Zouping Municipal Party Committee; Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group; and Zhang Hongxia, Party Secretary and General Manager of the Group.

Hu Bo conducted on-site visits to the Weiqiao Textile R&D and Creative Achievements Exhibition Hall, the Green and Intelligent Third Weaving Plant, the Lightweight Manufacturing Base, and the 600kA Smart Aluminum Electrolytic Plant. 

He recognized the Group's innovative efforts in intelligent textile manufacturing and aluminum industry upgrading as a benchmark for regional economic development. Hu encouraged the Group to take firm responsibility in ¡°taking the lead and shouldering the burden,¡± further strengthening its exemplary role. He urged continued investment in technological innovation, deeper industrial chain integration, and enhanced collaboration with upstream and downstream enterprises to build a more competitive industrial cluster, thereby injecting sustained momentum into the high-quality development of Binzhou and Zouping¡¯s economy.

Hu Bo also visited the Zhang Shiping Memorial Hall, where he paid tribute and reviewed the late chairman¡¯s journey of hard work and dedication to national industry. He highly praised Zhang Shiping¡¯s entrepreneurial spirit of ¡°starting a business for the country and creating benefits for the people¡± and his philanthropic philosophy of ¡°giving back to society.¡±

During the visit, Hu also toured Zouping Olympic Sports Park, which was funded by the Shiping Public Welfare Foundation. He examined the operations and public usage of the sports venues, and commended the foundation¡¯s initiatives in supporting local livelihood improvement.
